The List

Just a reminder that next Tuesday is the last night for live band karaoke ( with Kate on bass (she is taking leave of the band to go have a baby or something like that). Afterwhich, they may have a karaoke DJ until they find a replacement.

Here is my updated songlist

If there are indeed only three weeks left of LBK, then I have a lot of work to do. Actually, I’m lucky if I get to do two songs a night because if there are a lot of sign ups, the regulars get bumped so that new people can sing. So, if I can do only six more songs from this list, which should they be?

Ok, so I musta had a good time at LBK ’cause I’m still up and I totally lost my voice. I did What I Like About You, Suffragette City, Beat on the Brat (very poorly), and No Feelings, and stayed for the sing-along, which was Just What I Needed and I Wanna Be Sedated. You gotta come out to LBK sometime, you really gotta.

Another random thought: I can’t remember the real names of some of the people on my flist. They will forever be known to me by their lj names.

Happy b-day, tomorrow, to nihilhexia. I’m hoping you can come out with us tonite so we can celebrate!. And, what better way to do so than to sing/scream lyrics angrily into the mic at Live Band Karaoke!
